Open Farming
An open-source initiative to democratize precision agriculture through low-cost IoT and modular software.
Open Farming aims to bring the benefits of modern data science to small-scale farmers. By utilizing low-power wide-area networks (LPWAN) and affordable sensor arrays, we built a system that provides real-time soil health and irrigation metrics.
Focus Areas:
- Resilience of hardware in extreme environments.
- Offline-first data synchronization.
- Community-driven agricultural insights.
Sustainability is a systems problem, and Open Farming is our contribution to a more resilient food future.
